You can look all over the world and see places that are absolutely stunning. From Canada, to Argentina, to Spain and more, you will come across cities that make your jaw drop and your heart stop. Here are 15 cities that I thought are worth taking a good look at. We start off in North America, go to South America and over to Europe. Enjoy!
Vancouver, Canada
I’m sure you have recently heard and seen a lot about Vancouver. They just hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics and showcased to the world why they deserve to be on any list of beautiful cities. Resting on the Pacific Ocean, they have one of the best backdrops with the Rocky Mountain countryside. You can really go almost anywhere in the city and see something beautiful.
Quebec City, Canada
A population of only 500, 000 people get to see this beautiful city everyday of their lives. The city is well known in Canada for its European influence which can still be seen in the buildings and the fortification walls that we’re built when the city was first founded. The world renown Château Frontenac, one of Quebec City’s famous hotels will let you enjoy the city’s beauty.

Ottawa, Canada
Ottawa is the capital city of Canada and has a population of just under 1 million. The great thing about the city is that depending on where you are, you will see a big change up in scenery. For example, if you are near the parliament buildings, you will see some of the best architecture that Canada has to offer. If you go to the outskirts of the city, there are many great forests and paths for hikers and bikers alike. During the winter, the city turns into a winter wonderland allowing many to skate along the river that goes straight through the city.

San Francisco, U.S.A.
The fourth most populous city in California, San Francisco is home to the Golden Gate Bridge and the cable car. Other interesting parts in the city include China Town. San Francisco’s China Town is the oldest and one of the largest in North America. You may also want to visit Alcatraz, an old jail that attracts over 1.5 million visitors a year.
Chicago, U.S.A.
Also known as the Windy City, Chicago rests right on Lake Michigan. Some cool things that make this city so cool is the amount of skyscrapers located in the city. Chicago is home to U.S.A.’s two tallest skyscrapers and combined with the Chicago River, it makes the downtown city area a beautiful view. If you go to this great city, be sure to also check out the harbor which offers great views to the city and the lake.

Buenos Aires, Argentina
The capital city of Argentina is the largest city in the country and the second largest city in South America. It has been compared to be the Paris of South America with it’s beautiful structures, landscapes, parks, many coffee shops, and overall attractiveness. The city has all the modern day amenities and has only about three million people living in the city. If you ever have a chance to visit, I would recommend doing just that.

Rio De Janeiro
Founded in 1595, Rio De Janeiro is the second biggest city in Brazil, and the third largest in South America. Most of the time the city is depicted with it’s Christ the Redeemer Statue that overlooks the entire city at the top of a mountain just outside the city. An estimated 6.5 million people live in the city giving the city great culture making it a joy to visit.

Pamplona Spain
If you’re one of the many idiots that goes to Pamplona to Run With the Bulls each year, you’re going to see an awesome city as you run around in it. Pamplona is located in northern Spain and houses some of the best architecture in the country and in Europe. Some notable places in the city is the Casall Palace, Old Square, Estafeta Street, Monumento a los Caídos, and the Chamber of Commerce of Navarra.

Stockholm Sweden
Founded in 1250, Stockholm is Sweden’s capital city which has about 900, 000 people calling it home. The city is world renown for for it’s parks, beautiful architecture, and the awesome waterways that surround the city.

Venice, Italy
Venice is one of the very unique cities in Europe. It is one of very few cities that has a series of canals and river ways to support transportation throughout the city. This makes it a very interesting city to visit and a very beautiful city to be in.
Lisbon Portugal
Lisbon is the capital city of Portugal and is the largest city in Portugal. The city is very rich in history as it is one of the oldest cities in the world. It was first captured by Julius Caesar and ruled by German tribes from the 5th century. In 1147 the Crusaders recaptured the city for Christians and it has since been the economic, cultural, and political center of Portugal.

Prague, Czech Republic
Being the capital city and the largest city of the Czech Republic, Prague has lots to offer. There are many things that make this city look good in its 1, 100 year old history. Some sites include Old Town, New Town, the Dancing House, Prague Metronome, Powder Tower, the Astronomical Clock, and the bridges that run across the Vltava River.

York, England
York has been around for almost 2, 000 years but only houses about 200, 000 people. It is very rich in English culture and has been a backdrop for many political events in England’s history.

Vienna, Austria
Vienna holds about 25 percent of Austria’s total population and is the capital city of Austria. Vienna holds many awesome looking architectural buildings that ranges in styles such as Romanesque Ruprechtskirche and the Baroque Karlskirche.

Paris, France
Paris the capital of France and one of the most beautiful cities in all of Europe. It has been around since 250 B.C. and is home to over two million people. Some sights obviously include the Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde, Place de la Bastille and Arc de Triomphe where the following picture was taken from.
